Shock Absorption is the ability to absorb the dynamic impact forces generated when a moving object comes into contact with another object. Modern cars are designed, such that on frontal impact, the whole front of the car sequentially collapses and the engine block is pushed backwards and downwards. This is known as the crumple zone. Peripeds Insoles are engineered so that the Silicone tubes beneath the foot progressively collapse under increasing pressure, to absorb the dynamic impact forces, thus acting as a crumple zone and avoiding impact and stress related injuries.
Peripeds Insoles can be cut to size, will not flatten out with time, are machine washable up to 40 degrees C. and guaranteed to last at least 6 months.
